Photography FAQ
How much experience do you have as Photographer? I have 8 years of professional experience using Canon EOS Digital and film cameras.
I am currently using the Canon EOS MarkII 1D and the Canon EOS 40D.
Do you shoot the events yourself? Yes, along with 1-2 assistants who film for me. The photographs in our portfolio are an example of their work, as well as my own.
Do you use a flash? Yes, I use studio quality Canon lights when neccessary.
Do you bring back up equipment with you? I carry (3) cameras with me at all times. If there is an equipment failure, a back-up camera is available.
Do you visit the ceremony and reception sites before the wedding? Events held within the Fresno County area are visited prior to the event.
How soon are the photographs available for viewing? I guarantee to have the website available for viewing within 7 business days.
What do the packages include? At minimum, a client receives the professional Photography services of myself or an assistant for 4 hours and website for viewing within 10 business days. Please review our packages page for all that is included in the individual photography packages.
What is your payment policy? I require a 33% reservation fee the day the date is booked. The 2nd 1/3 is due 30 days prior to the event and the final 1/3 due 1 week prior to the event.
What is your cancellation policy? All initial payments are non-refundable
Do you offer a money back guarantee? On the photographs, no, they are a subjective nature. On quality of physical prints and albums, yes.
Do you allow other Photographers or Videographers at the event? No other Photographers or Videographers, professional or amatuer, will be allowed to film or photograph during posed shots or during interviews at the reception. (unless discussed prior at consultation)
Who keeps the negatives? Because I shoot digitally in almost all cases I keep control over the original high resolution files. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of the contract , clients give Composure Photo & Videography copyright control over all images. These images can also be used at our descretion for tasteful advertising including by not limited to websites, brochures and displayed photographs.
